As some of you may already know I am about to leave to study abroad through IES Abroad in Barcelona, Spain in less than 2 months! I cannot believe that it is approaching so quickly! I remember sitting in my dorm room two years ago beginning to plan out my trip with my best friend and new travel buddy Kiersten Popke and now I am in the final stages of the planning process! Let me tell you I am on an emotional roller coaster with this trip. It is so exciting yet so intimidating at the same time! I get to live out my dream and travel the world for four months with my best friend.....who wouldn't be excited?! But as most of you know I am ATTACHED to my phone....I mean come on its got everything I need...text messaging, Facebook and now my email! How am I going to survive without it?! I guess I am going to be doing A LOT of skyping! I am about to enter into not only a place where I do not know anyone, but an ENTIRE new culture with different foods, traditions and norms....so scary!! I am so greatfull for this opportunity and am so excited for my family to come visit me for 10 days and explore Europe with me! Currently I am trying to convince some of my sorority sisters and friends to come visit me on their college Spring Breaks so I am crossing my fingers and hoping they can convince their parents that spring breaking in Barcelona is necessary!! So now that my classes are set, student Visa is processing and flight is being booked there is only a few things left to do.....weekend trip planning and PACKING! I have NO IDEA how I am going to fit everything in just TWO suitcases! AHHHHHH Literally am going to have to start packing the first day of Christmas break!
Feel free to post any suggestions or advice for my trip! I am totally clueless!
